Karen comes from York, England where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing prior to practicing as a cardiac intensive care nurse in the UK. Karen studied business development at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) London, England.

 

Karen relocated to the USA in the late 90's and holds a compact states nursing license in the USA. For the past number of years, Karen has held clinical leadership and executive roles in palliative and hospice care, rehab and long term care, where the focus was on helping patients and families plan their changing nursing care needs. Since 2022 her career has been in clinical leadership with a major healthcare organization as a clinical nurse educator.

Karen's expertise lies in preventative health care, health maintenance and chronic disease management in adults over 60.​

Karen holds a current US multi-state registered nurse license in Colorado and is able to provide nursing consulting to patients and clients in over 40 states and health and life coaching in all states and globally.

 

Aside from her registered nurse license and credentials, Karen is a certified professional and life coach with the International Coaches Federation (ICF) of which she is a current member.

She is currently based in Colorado, USA, spending time between there,  California and Oregon with her husband Paul. They love nature, enjoy the outdoors biking the trails, boating lakes and rivers,  and walking the beach. Karen is an avid kitchen gardener, growing her own organic fruit and vegetables.
