Living Will Plan and Medical Directives
x2, 50 minute sessions, with unlimited email communications
Service Description
A living will is a legal document that provides clinical staff and your loved ones the instructions for the type and level of care you want if you cannot communicate those wishes yourself. Clinical staff want to know how you want to be treated in an emergency situation. For example, you need to understand what DNR, CPR, life support, intubation, etc, means and look like to you as a patient. I am not a lawyer, but I can help you understand the clinical scenarios and what the various clinical responses mean and look like to help you understand the why behind those decisions. That way, you can make informed decisions and have peace of mind that you will have your wishes known and acted upon if that time arrives.
