Hello
My name is Karen Bennett
I'm a licensed registered nurse, clinical nurse educator, nursing leader and certified life coach. I'm also a stroke survivor. Read about my life changing event that motivates me to help others.
Read below.

In my mid-40s, I had a stroke.
Like many women, I didn’t think I was “the type.” I was busy, but I was keeping fit, walking, running, going to the gym, eating a pretty healthy diet and focused on everything from my business to family and everyone else.
Although stroke, heart disease and diabetes ran in my family, I was doing everything I should be doing, right? I felt like it was something that happened later—or to someone else.
Wrong.
What I hadn't thought about was actually taking my vitals, having a doctors wellness check up in my 40's (that's what older people do with chronic conditions not 40 fit somethings like me who's a nurse, right?)
I missed the warning signs because I was too darn busy!
That experience changed everything.
It made me realize how often women in midlife are overlooking the real risks building beneath the surface that are asymptomatic, like —higher blood pressure, my metabolic health, weight changes, stress impact, and the silent factors that can lead to heart attack or stroke.
And it showed me something else:
Most women are not given the support they need to truly understand their health or follow through on what matters most.
That is why I do this work.
I'm a 20+ year stroke survivor.
As a nurse, I bring clinical knowledge.
As a woman who has lived it, I bring true understanding.
I remember the fear and terror I felt during the stroke event and in the months recovering afterwards.
So, I educate midlife women about the cardiovascular and brain health risks they can face, how to adjust lifestyles whether using GLP-1 therapy or not. Modern solutions like GLP-1 therapy not just for weight loss, but as part of a bigger plan—to protect their heart, their brain, and their future.
Because this is not just about the scale.
It is about awareness.
It is about prevention.
It is about taking your health seriously—before something forces you to.
My mission?
To help women in midlife recognize the risks they can’t afford to ignore, understand what their body needs, and feel supported in taking real, consistent steps toward lasting health.
Bottom line
Please, do not wait for a potentially life changing event like a heart attack or stroke to be your wake up call to start protecting your health. Start now and prevent it.
